May is national Photography month! Let’s celebrate it!!
Photography allows us to document our journey through life. Photography also allows us to preserve all of our memories – new and old. Photos allow us to travel to the past.
I recently had a mishap with my hard drive that houses my photos. Well, my photos since 2000! Everything before then is a print in a box LOL! While I was quadruple backing up my photos, I found a photo of my grandparents on their wedding day. And a picture of my great grandparents from 1947.
Without these photos, I wouldn’t have been able to have a peak into my grandparents past. I love how photos can transport us to a different time. Photos can also help us remember a point in time.
How do you choose to capture the special moments in your life? Do you prints those photos? Create albums? Or do they just live on your phones and computers?
It is a passion of mine to document and provide everyone memories of their special moments in life. Last year, I wrote a post about Photos Everyone Need talking about my idea for the Forever Young photo sessions.
The Forever Young sessions are about celebrating our vintage couples. Wouldn’t it be neat if I had a picture of my grandparents how I remember them in addition to the neat ones from years gone by? Then I could look at the lovely portrait and relive all the wonderful times we had together. The concept of the Forever Young sessions is to provide you and your parents or grandparents of a special memory that can be passed on for generations. Like my photos I have of my grandparents and great-grandparents, the Forever Young sessions allow you to also have portraits to pass down.
The Forever Young sessions give you portraits to cherish for lifetimes. Think about how neat it will be for the little boy in this portrait to look back at this possibly with his children some day and recall special memories with his grandparents. This couple was also celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. It is important that we document such milestones and I love making that happen!
