Album Photos: Making the Selection

One of my favorite ways to treasure the moments captured during your wedding or special event is to showcase them in an album. Albums allow you to relive the story of your very special day. You will have a plethora of photos of all the magical moments of your event, but how do you choose which images to include?

That’s where I come in! I’ll help you design and select the photos for your album or album block.

First, we will sit down together to view all the photos of your special day. As we view the photos, I’ll mark the ones you “ooh and ahh” over. Once we have viewed all of the moments, we’ll go back through and mark the ones you love. Here are some ideas on which moments in time to include:

  • Pre-wedding/Getting Ready (Bride and Groom)
  • Bouquet
  • First look photos (father of the bride, bride and groom, etc.)
  • Bridal Party
  • Bride and Groom portraits
  • Ceremony photos (I do, first kiss, etc.)
  • Family portraits
  • Reception photos
  • First Dance
  • Cake Cutting
  • Exit (last dance, fireworks, etc.)

Once we select the images you love and want to see in your album, we review them one more time to ensure you captured all the images you want included in the album.

After we have selected all the photos to include, I’ll arrange them so they tell a story of your very special day. I then send you a proof to review and approve. View a sample here: Album Proof

The next step after approval is to place the order! I’ll order the album and we both anxiously awaits its arrival. Once the album arrives, I inspect it to ensure quality and then I set up a time to hand deliver it to you. I get so excited to deliver albums, watch you gush over it, and relive the memories of your special event.
